Paediatric First Aid

We are the only company to be able to offer an alternative to the 2 days in the classroom for childminders and carers who need to complete a Paediatric First Aid Course to comply with the requirements of SURESTART, OFSTED and NCMA. Our new blended course offers a video based online course that is completed before attending a full day in the classroom with an instructor to complete the practical part of the course.

This blended course does not replace the 2 day, 12 hour all classroom course, but offers an excellent alternative for those who are simply unable to spare the time to attend 2 days in a classroom only course.

To complete the blended course, the first step is to register and purchase the online course. You will then watch a series of videos and complete a multiple choice test. When you have completed the entire online course and test, you then attend a local classroom course for one day. When you have successfully completed both the online and classroom modules, you will be issued a ProTrainings wall certificate and wallet card.

AED

This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in AED use. AED units are becoming more common in the community and workplace and you can attend a local AED course in how to use these life saving units. We have an online and a 100% classroom course for this and the certificate is valid for one year to comply with recommendations. To renew complete the same course again.

Learning AED skills is becoming more important with the increase in the numbers of units in the community and workplace. They are easy to use with a little training and make a real difference in the chance of survival to someone in cardiac arrest. If you have already completed any other first aid course you will understand the importance of prompt use of an AED making this an ideal next course to take to develop your skills.

“Just a belated note to say Thank you to AAMS for your support during our Civil War Weekend.

After a rather boring Sunday, it all went off on the Monday with 5 casualties all told if I counted correctly! I thought your team showed a very calm but efficient front in dealing with so much at once and that helped greatly to continue the smooth running of the event.

We will certainly bear you in mind for future events.
