Our Staff
Our staff are among the most dedicated anywhere in the world. They are always striving to deliver the best possible level of care to our patients and the highest level of service to our clients. They train hard, work hard and occasionally play hard. They are a close team, who look after each other and are a pleasure to work with.
AAMS personnel undertake extended CRB checks ensuring the safety of our clientele. These checks include working with vulnerable adults and pediatrics.
From November 1st 2010, all AAMS employees are required to register with the ISA. This registration is a legal requirement for any staff who work with vulnerable adults or children and is transferrable.
AAMS Training
We invest in the quality and performance of our service by employing and educating all our medical teams through in house and external training programmes, thus promoting excellence in care delivery to patients, their families, hospitals and clients that utilise our services. To this end we engage the services of ECG Training. Directed by Jane Lambert, a former Resus Officer for the NHS, ECG provide AAMS with a tailored training package which include Patient Handling, Oxygen Therapy, AED and Basic Life Support.
Our Staff
6 monthly driving license checks are undertaken. All drivers adhere to the NHS Ambulance Service Drivers Handbook and the Police Issue Road Craft Advanced drivers handbook. All AAMS personnel attend an advanced driving course, including emergency driving with blue lights under varied conditions. These courses are delivered by the Simon Hall Advanced Driver Training School. These courses are supplemented with annual refresher training courses.

“Just a belated note to say Thank you to AAMS for your support during our Civil War Weekend. After a rather boring Sunday, it all went off on the Monday with 5 casualties all told if I counted correctly! I thought your team showed a very calm but efficient front in dealing with so much at once and that helped greatly to continue the smooth running of the event.
We will certainly bear you in mind for future events.
